2.5 out of 5 stars; made it through but will not get that time back. Make a drinking game out of it or watch it while you do something else.
Adult Stuff-
After 10- Ok production and acting. Got me a little curious so why not.
After 40- I am guessing, is it this guy or that guy, want to know what's going on.
By The End- WTF! That's what they go with? Groan.
This movie is an IFC, and I love watching IFC flicks for the little gems that are pleasant rare finds.
This is not one of those gems I am looking for. Elevative Ent, and Revolver Pic Company did a fine job on the look and feel of this flick. I would watch another movie from either or both of these companies.
Kelly Noonan did well I feel and I have been a fan of Jeff Fahay since lanwmower man. The acting and effects are not where this film loses points for me. Check the spoilers if you like, might even save you 89 minutes.
Some of the other reviews on IMDB seemed very pleased with this film. Some talk about how claustrophobic the movie felt, all I have to say to them is watch crawl or die. That movie is claustrophobic.
All in all I feel there are other, better stories out there, about coal mines, claustrophobia, or strange unclear evil doings. If you are addicted to mine movies though, this is one.

*And for a little while I was not sure if it was a ghost thing or a crazy paranoia thing or a gas thing.
*To be honest that is kinda the problem with the story. Even in the end I am not sure what happened, and in my mind that means the story was not told clearly.
